The Cultural Studies and Contemporary Arts (CSCA) Lab of European University Cyprus announces its Internships and Residencies for Spring Semester of 2017.
The CSCA Internship Program allows undergraduate and graduate students, and beginning professionals to engage in projects relevant to contemporary art, art history and theory, museum and heritage studies, and cultural and new media theory.
The lab is committed to providing young researchers, artists, and other practitioners from Cyprus and abroad the opportunity to develop their research and practical skills and gain exposure to real-world experience by becoming an integral part and being involved in the lab’s projects and ongoing activities.
The CSCA Residency Program welcomes postgraduate students, beginning and late researchers, museum professionals, visual artists and other creative individuals to engage in projects relevant the lab’s research areas. We particularly invite residents who wish to:
Pursue research in contemporary art and/or photographic practices, archives, museum and heritage studies, and cultural and new media theory, and/or
Engage with art process, produce a visual outcome, and/or curate an exhibition, and
Bring an interdisciplinary approach to research by bridging theory and practice and/or various fields of study.
The CSCA Residency is for those who want the time and space to further and even completely reinvent their research and/or creative practices.
